REMEMBER WITH A SMILE
memories are important...they are all you have to hold onto when your loved one leaves this world.
....smile when you remember him and imagine his smile right back at you...that's what love feels like!
21 years ago today Leo was alive and the next day taken from all of us... but, Forever in our Hearts. Live happy, Leo would be smiling at that!

Always in Our Hearts
time does not lessen the sadness that I feel not being able to talk with you. I love you Leo...when I was little myself, you were my baby brother and I simply adored you. As I grew older, you became more of a friend and I thought we would always be there for each other...but, I learned that nothing lasts forever. You meant so much to so many people, but it's your love we miss the most.

annie's memory of Leo
I am so sorry about your brother, uncle Leo. I read ur post and out of the blue a memory of him from when I was very young just popped into my head. I was talking to him and I am pretty sure that it was at one of my parents cook-outs on safford st, but it may have been at uncle Jimmy's house. (That's the only part that is unclear).... He had on a white button down shirt and jeans. He was sitting on the picnic table bench talking to me and I was sitting on the table trying to lean in and block my mom from hearing us. I was telling him about my boyfriend (the one I was not allowed to have yet).I really cant believe that I can remember this like it was just last week, something that I havent thot about in years.- Meghan and I were being annoying and were fighting over the video camera that Al brought. Auntie Denise was telling us her joke about the dead cat. (Oh it was 4th of July) u walked over to the lake with me to see the parachuters, but instead we found a dead frog. I really loved that time in my life. I really miss u all. It sucked that things changed after ur mom and my grandfather split up. I think that night during the fireworks that I was wearing a sweatshirt that u had made me. I think it had the divine comedy masks on it. Let me know if thats right. Oh well I do know that u made us each a ceramic pen/pencil holder that had our initials on it and I want u to know that I still have mine. Its cracked and chipped but I have it. How funny is that.
